Hello!
My name is Amanda Garcia Orozco, I’m a freelance 2D animator and illustrator based in Barcelona.
In 2018 I finished my Animation Degree with a specialization in 2D character animation in ECIB (Escola de Cinema de Barcelona).
Since then I’ve been working on different animated projects including TV spots and feature films such as The Kid Who Would De King (2019) and Dolittle (2020). I am currently working as a 2D animation assistant in Imagic-TV for the project Jimmy and the Magic Key.
During the past couple of years I have been making my way into the book industry, currently having two published books: the graphic novel "Superbollo contra la L.E.F.A" (2020, Continta me tienes) and the learning book "¡A pintar! Con lápices de colores"(2021, MTM editores).
At the same time, I’m making my own way on the indie comics field and on the last couple of years I’ve tabled at some national zine events such as PichiFest (Madrid) and Kboom, Oh Comics and Impreses (Barcelona), in which I explore coming of age stories, slice of life, soft sci-fi scenarios and portraying intimacy between diverse characters.

I enjoy screenprinting, painting from life and warm drinks.
